9 December 2019 by pka-userWe would like to invite you to participate in the international conference concluding the Erasmus+ DASCHE project results. The conference: Social competences – the new dimension of the traditional mission of higher education will be held on 28 February 2020 at the Warsaw School of Economics.Social competences are, apart from knowledge and skills, one of the three dimensions of higher education. Integrating them into study programmes, assessing the achievement of learning outcomes assigned to them and adjusting them to modern challenges is not an easy task. The DASCHE project, whose associated partner is the Polish Accreditation Committee, has conducted research in 6 European countries to show how higher education institutions and systems cope with this challenge. The project results include a set of guidelines and recommendations addressed to policy makers at institutional, national and European level concerning the development of students’ social competences. The conference will be an opportunity to learn about examples of good practices in shaping social competences in Polish and foreign institutions. Two parallel sessions of the conference are still open for papers of the individuals and institutions who would like to share their reflections with the conference participants. The paper proposals may be submitted until 16 December 2019.The conference will be held in English. Participation in the conference is free of charge.A more detailed description of the project and the conference as well as the registration form and “call for papers” can be found at www.dasche.eu .
