The Program Council of the Polish Accreditation Committee is pleased to present to you the results of the study of the impact of programme evaluations conducted by PKA on education quality assurance considering the implementation of recommendations by universities, based on the results of evaluations after conditional evaluations. This research was carried out in accordance with the schedule of analytical and research work of the Program Council of the Polish Accreditation Committee for 2022-2023 as part of the research and analysis of the processes carried out. The purpose of the study was to trace the fate of faculties that received conditional evaluation in 2002-2020.
The Polish Accreditation Committee issued conditional evaluations from its inception until the law of July 20, 2018 came into force. Law on Higher Education and Science, which established a two-tier scale for program evaluation. According to Article 242(4) of the Law on Higher Education, program evaluation ends with the issuance of either a positive or negative grade.
